Mobile application for remote control of photographic equipment
Winter, Luca ; Vojáček, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kovář, Jiří (advisor)
This project describes the design of a mobile application for devices running on the iOS platform. The desired purpose of the application is for it to be able to control photographic equipment from a distance with the ability to check on its current state. It describes the options currently available and a description of the source code of the designed application.
Camera Positioning Device
Berčík, Vojtěch ; Toman, Marek (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with the design of a drive for a camera positioning device that could be used for shooting videos and timelapses. The optimal drive and power supply as well as the steering program based on the Arduino platform program are developed. The construction prototype adapted for printing at 3D printers is also designed. The whole system is then produced and tested.
Design of a camera slider for shooting time-lapse shots with a focus on the object
Koupil, Michael ; Franke, Jakub (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the constructional plan and implementation of the camera slider while using a 3D printer and Arduino platform. In theoretical part, there is an analysis of the commonly used camera sliders. Based on this analysis, several variations were prepared, and the most feasible constructional plan was chosen. In practical part, the aforementioned plan was worked out, safety calculations concerning selected nodes were made, as well as the mechanical drawing of the device. A prototype was then built and tested, whether it met all the requirements. The suggested device fulfils all the objectives of the Bachelor’s thesis.

Progress in photography and video and its impact for origin of timelapse
Ciml, Michal ; Truhlář, Filip (advisor) ; Juračka, Petr Jan (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with history of photography and video and its importance for the development of a specific photographic techniques - time lapse video. The thesis discusses in more detail the composition and its rules in timelapse creation. Further, a procedure of making according to the author of this thesis and its experience are presented. The author draws on, among other things, information from Gunther Wegner, the world-known timelapse author, whom he met several times personally. The reader of this work should gain awareness of the history, composition and timelapse creation. The thesis should also be a source of information by which also a layman can create his first timelapse and should help him to avoid basic mistakes of a beginner.
